Kids Chairs, Rescued

My kids are I were walking to school one day when we saw these sweet chrome kids chairs by the side of the road. The owner was putting them out for the trash, and said they’d been heavily used since the 1950’s. Unable to let the lives of these chairs come to an end, we scooped them up and took them on a ride, first on a stroller and then on the handlebars of a Citibike.

Once at the workroom, they got new foam and were recovered in a fun, fruity fabric from Jim Thompson called Garden Party in Fruit Punch. They came home revived and ready to return the kids - who were thrilled!
