Antique Armchair, Reupholstered

This beautiful antique chair was originally upholstered in a plain cream color. I reupholstered the piece in Montage Pool from Brook Perdigon Textiles, who creates hand-drawn and hand-screen-printed designs made in the USA.

I pattern matched the gorgeous geometric shapes, so they flow continuously from the back to the seat cushion, and down the arms on the sides. Complete with new nailhead and a new cushion insert, this chair headed home much more joyfully than it arrived.
